Researcher Bill Kelly discusses Air Force One radio transmissions recorded November 22, 1963 in the aftermath of President Kennedy’s shooting in Dallas. Only about a quarter of these transmissions have been released to the public despite their historical and evidentiary value. Kelly reviews the existing tapes and contextualizes the information they provide against the larger tapestry of events on that day.
This program was produced for Black Op Radio’s series “50 Reasons For 50 Years”, an internet series which played throughout the 50th anniversary year of Kennedy’s death, utilizing leading authors and researchers exploring the many facets of this important and controversial event.
