RFK campaign aide on assassination conspiracies

This is only a brief mention of William Schehter’s feelings on the assassinations of JFK and RFK,

“The New York Times sent a reporter (Pulitzer Prize-winner Homer Bigart) after a (1966 gubernatorial) campaign stop in New York,” he said. “Bobby agreed to speak to him. He asked the senator if he believed there was a conspiracy surrounding his brother’s death or if he accepted the Warren Commission’s finding that a lone gunman had done it.
